Detail-
Artemis, named after the Greek goddess of the moon and the hunt, carries herself with pride. A beautiful young woman of seventeen, she loves literature and music and feeds on intelligent conversation. Her element is a mixture of light and dark, resulting in her powers coming from the astral beings, or the night sky. She wears a short sleeved black tunic and a black skirt that stops just under her knees, where her boots begin. Her wrists are protected by archers bracers, adorned with white Celtic designs, to match her bow. Upon her head is a simple white gold circlet with a black opal resting on her brow.
Background-
Artemis’ father was a demon king. He was powerful and a great master of his element, darkness. Her mother, on the other hand, was a beautiful human fighter who drew her power from the light. The relationship that grew between the two wasn’t widely praised in either world, and when she was only six weeks old, Artemis’ mother was murdered. Thinking she would be happier in a real family, her father sent her to live with a low ranking noble family in the country side. There she lived until she was thirteen, thinking she knew her blood line. When she was finally told of her true origins, she vanished without a trace. She had decided to abandon the life of her father had planned for her and become a wandering warrior. She spent time drifting through demon world training with various masters. She never made many friends, except for a strange half demon girl, (much like Artemis herself) named Kayla she met while studying herbal healing. To this day she searches for her purpose in this world, and tries to find her destiny.
