Name: Lilio
Age: 17
Weight: 138 lbs.
Height: 5' 7"
Hair: Short but bushy, black.
Eyes: Charcoal, shining with youth and confidence.
Armor: None, and trust me, he won't be needing it.
Weapon: His hands.
Special Abilities:
1. Single being, powerful spirit: Lilio has been training since he was old enough to understand words about how to make his mind, body, and soul one. During extreme situations his being unites to allow him to do incredible things. He must announce this state of being and take from a few seconds to a few hours to achieve the transition. The things he can do are related to physical strength or willpower. He can't suddenly have the power to shoot energy beams or destroy a whole city. But his combat ability is exponentially increased. He can move at blinding speeds, and his firsts and legs become just as deadly as any sword or axe, his strength also increases, and with concentration he can harden his skin to stop some attacks. It is only during this state that he can use any of his other abilities.
2. Shining Sunlight, Falling Rain: Lilio jumps into the air, using the sunlight to blind his enemy. He then drops, and lands palm first on the ground. This creates a shock wave and destroys any enemy(s) or objects he lands on, along with knocking away all objects and enemies within ten feet. In combat terms, a direct hit is instant death, being within ten feet is a stun and some damage, unless you happen to be hit by flying shrapnel. This technique can be used in the absence of sunlight, that’s just an added bonus.
3. Path of the Horizon: This is an attack where Lilio rushes at his enemy with blinding speed and hits them with a jumping kick. This attack is so fast that to a distracted or weak foe it is unavoidable. So in combat terms, if someone is unaware of his presence or standing there talking without being ready, they cannot avoid this attack. It may seem a bit overpowered, but the primary purpose is to keep dialog during battles to a minimum.
4. Crescent Moon: This is a single kick at the end of a combo. He kicks in the arcing shape of the crescent moon. This attack sends the target flying up, down, left, or right, depending on the direction of the kick.
Detail: Wears a blue vest over a white loose robe. The robe has ties on the sleeves to prevent them from getting in the way. His shoes are sandals that he can kick off during battle. His pants are baggy and tie down at his feet. His blue vest is hard leather and has the pattern of twin dragons on either side in the front, and the symbol of his monastery on the back. The vest splits down the middle and is held in place by a black sash.
Background: His parents were poor villagers who could barely feed themselves let alone a new baby. They decided the best course was to sell him to a monastery. Now, while this may seem cruel, realize that this way they could get some money, and while their son would have a hard life, he would not starve. He lived as a simple servant for many years. However there was a very old man in the monastery who was near the end of his life. As it turned out this man was a master of the martial arts. He knew many ancient and forgotten secrets about the arts. Once when insulted by some younger martial artists, he claimed he could train anyone to be greater than them in any way. They challenged him to train Lilio, the new slave boy. So, from that day, Lilio lived the martial arts. He was trained night and day, and dedicated all his time to it. He had a very hard life, working long hours as a servant and the rest of his waking hours he trained. After five years the master bought Lilio as his full time apprentice. This made him have full days to train. When he turned ten, Lilio’s master began to teach him the most ancient and secret techniques. Lilio over the next years learned how to align his body, mind, and spirit, to give him incredible power. With this power he developed his own techniques. Now Lilio was sixteen, his training was over. He knew all his master had to teach him. He faced the men who had insulted his master sixteen years ago, and utterly destroyed them. He would have killed them, had his master not stopped him. His master used a technique to return his body to a state of youth, giving his the strength he needed to stop Lilio. He wanted to speak with Lilio immediately. Now Lilio had always had a purely business relationship with his master. So it surprised him to hear what his master had to say. “I have made a fatal flaw in teaching you. I cannot teach you any more. I have taught you only techniques. I have taught you how to fight, but you still do not know why to fight. Power without direction is a wild fire. You must leave this place now. Go out into the world beyond these walls, the world you do not know, and learn why to fight.” The next day Lilio left, he began his sojourn into the world beyond. And that is where he is today…
