whithis is an exact duplicate from another site, just cause i love this char. . .so it's not in the exact same format as the other characters, but it's easy enough to read, and he is DEFFINATELY not over powered, he's on old man for christ's sake!
---------------
Name: Sage Sedelfus
Age: 72
Race: Human
B-Day: He doesn't remember it.
Birthplace: A farm just outside of the metropolis of Tule
Height: 5'3'' (he would be taller if he could stand up straight)
Weight: 110 lbs
Apearance: He looks the epitome of the wise old hermit. Hunched over with a gnarled staff supporting his frail body. He always has a gray cloak pulled far over his face, not to be mysterious, but because his old eyes don't like the bright light.
Alignment: Chaotic Good
Combat Styles: Please, he's 72 years old! He used to, in his day, be able to take on a couple men at once using a style he created himself.
Affinity: -----
Weapons: His staff, which is surprisingly sturdy, and actually lends him some strength, which he uses to hold himself up as he walks with it.
Abilities: He used to be quite the mage, but now he can only do some small parlor tricks, unless of course, he gets angered, in which case his emotion brings out his latent abilities. This rarely happens, seeing as he is now a sage. Also, he can scry fairly easily on a person he knows enough information of already. Should the need arise, he is gifted with the ability to tell shady parts of the future.
Personality: He is a kind old man, and loves to sit in the back of the pub with his oversized pipe (which is enchanted to always have tobacco in it) and tell stories to some of the adventurers that pass through.
Occupation: Sage and Storyteller inside castle Tule.
History: He was born on a form, about half a day's journey from Tule. When he was a teenager, he decided to leave his father's land behind to go journeying. Along the way, he learned of his magical ability, andhow to fight using his body as a weapon. He came to a stop with that "foolishness," as he tells the adventurers nowadays, when he came to visit home 20 years after leaving the first time. His father was grey and old, working the farm alone. His mother had passed on. So, he decided he would take over for his father, let the man rest for the remainder of his life. After his father passed a few years later, he sold the land, and took up residence in the castle, studying in the library. He's been there ever since.
