These are some of the basics for your characters, which probably should have gone on the character board but i wanted to make this pretty. Soooooo.......
First and most importent; No character is invincible! No character can be a god or immortal and thus unkillable, unless under special curcumstances and approved by the Admins. Every attack and defense must have a weak point, or at least one not too terribly complicated way to defeat it. Otherwise all battles would be pretty boring, ne? (And for those of you who actually know this term...No S-class demons. It hasn't really come up yet, but if you want to be that powerful you're going to have to work up to it.)
Second and not nearly as important; No dirty stuff between characters or having roleplays or the like based off them. We've got younger members here, people!
Third; Like the above stated, we've got young members here that don't need to learn any new and exciting language, so keep the cursing to a minimum, please. And if that's not a good enough excuse for you, then perhaps you should know that i am easily offended and not very fond of harsh language. I am also an admin. Do you know what that means? It means i can do horrible, horrible things to you with my super-duper admin powers.
- As a general rule, keep most of the fighting on the Battle Board. There can be fighting in the regular roleplay section, but for extended fights and ones that are not relevant to the plot (if there is a plot) it'd be best to put them in that special section that was actually made for them.
- If one of your characters die, you cannot use that character anywhere on any of the rpgs until the mandatory three days are up.
- Off-subject text (usually when you're talking instead of your character) needs to be in double paranthesis, like this; (( Look, see? This is where you'd post off-topic chat when rpging! )) It's just confusing when one leaves straight off from talking to his/her character talking.
- We admins pass the final judgment on everything. Don't argue with us, it'd be against your better judgment to have one of us ticked off at you.
- When your character dies, it'd be most helpful if you'd pm one of the admins and tell us the name of your character and why he or she died. It goes without saying you must pm us immediately after the death, don't cheat and not report it for days/weeks. Not that there's really any point in NOT doing so, since in this case death is actually very temperary and only lasts three days.
- When your character dies, you cannot participate in any of the roleplay sections.
- When you modify your character(s), you cannot do it in the middle of a battle. It simply would not be fair if in the middle of the battle you suddenly gained all these new abilities/weapons.
- If you are going to give your account/character to someone else, you must pm the admins first to let us know so we won't get confused and fall over.
- If someone is doing something against the rules, throw away all your morals and be a tattletale. You know you want to and it'd be much easier on us, which is of course all that matters. ;D
- No double-posting, except in a character development thread, occasionally on character threads, or if you need to post more than 1000 (words) in one post.
- No more than 6 characters (not words, the other kind, like Tim and Bob.)
- Character development plots go under the Roleplay section, or at least until we make a special section for that sort o' thing.
- Some of the old members might want to check to see if their character was moved to the 'Modify Characters' section.
- And for anyone who actually read to the end of this list, congratulations! You get a cookie!
As always, the rules are subject to change.
