"Ah," Kayla said, straightening up with a rather strange expression on her face. "Thank you, that does clear certain things up."

::Wind turned in, and Kayla found herself all alone in the big house. That's how it seemed, but she did always have a guardian didn't she. It couldn't be that bad.......till all the lights went out!::

Kayla froze momentarily, frowning as all the lights abruptly cut off, then began to walk again, extremely carefully. She felt her way along the walls to some room, feeling the soft carpet under her feet until she ran into something very big that she eventually decided was a bed. She climbed up gingerly onto it, briefly taking the time to feel around and make sure there was no one else in it that could make the morning a very embarassing thing, before collapsing and deciding promptly that she really hated the dark. Especially when she was in someone else's house in which she'd never been before, a house which happened to be very very BIG indeed. She also decided that she really had no other choice than to fall asleep, and so she did so almost immediately. After all, it was that or sit up wondering what exactly was making those incredibly odd noises.

::Sid was making some odd noises indeed. Him and some of the servant girls that is, but no detail is needed::
::The next day The sun poured in the east side of the house. That's how Kayla could tell that she was on the west side. A servant walked in with Kaylas breakfast. It was hot eggs and toast. Somehow they had it ready at the exact moment she awoke, for it was quite warm, but not burned from being cooked for a long time till she awoke::

"Thank you," Kayla said to the servant, looking down at the tray in surprise. She waited until the servant had left before starting on her breakfast, quickly eating the toast and taking only a few bites of the eggs. Finishing, she stood and went to the mirror to brush out her hair with a handsome oak comb that she kept tucked in the inside pocket of her side bag along with a few other personal items she would need to use to prepare herself in the morning when she wasn't at home. She continued to quickly tie her hair up and out of her eyes, then, going to the bathroom, she splashed some water on her face. She walked back into the bedroom and frowned when she realized that she had no clue where her bags of purchased clothes had gone. And because of this, she would have to wear what she had fallen asleep in. So, as ready as she would be until later reunited with her fresh clothes, she grabbed the tray and headed out of her room, wandering blindly in hopes of finding a familer-looking hallway.

::After twenty whole minutes it was getting old. Then, she saw Sid at the end of a long hall with a window at the end. The hall had two exits on each side. Sid noticed her, and stopped. He wirled around, facing her, and took some sort of fighting stance with a moking look on his face::

Kayla smiled, grateful to finally have found someone she knew, and stopped. "Morning," she said airily, tilting her head at him and his position.

::Her words echoed down the long hall, and it's hardwood floors. "Yo" Sid said ina friendly tone. "It's this way." He walked to the middle of the hall, and pushed some buttons on a security controll. The wall opened up, and sid walked in the next room, out of Kaylas sight::

Curious, Kayla followed instantly, as was expected of her.

::She walked in to the controll center. Wind sat there in his main chair, as twenty servants worked on computers and such, in the lower part of the large open room. There was a big screen in the front of the room displaying numbers. The floor rattled as if there was an engine under them::

Kayla simply stood there for a moment, being very, very quiet. Eventually she folded her arms behind her back and stepped towards where Wind was sitting, stopping just behind his chair to look up at the screen.

::The screen had a bunch of numbers on it at the moment. "What, Oh..Good morning Kayla...Did you sleep last night?" Wind asked with a hint of care. He followd his question with hand motions to servants, who pushed small red buttons that lit up the dark room as they were pressed. Hissing noises came from under the floor::

"Ye-ess, I did," Kayla answered slowly, watching Wind's actions with a sort of masked interest. "And you? Or did you not sleep at all?"
This question was directed towards Wind, for somehow, she had little trouble imagining what Sid had been up to last night.
